Policy Scotland at the University of Glasgow is delighted to announce that Scotland’s Minister for UK Negotiations on Scotland’s Place in Europe Michael Russell MSP is to give a major speech on Brexit in the latest event in our lecture series.
At an event in the Kelvin Hall at 6.30pm on Thursday June 15th, Mr Russell will discuss the impact of Brexit on higher education in Scotland, before taking questions from the audience. With the lecture coming just a week after the General Election result, this is a timely opportunity to hear from one of the people at the heart of the Brexit process in the UK on what is clearly one of the major issues facing universities.
This is the latest in Policy Scotland’s ongoing series of lectures on Brexit – which has thus far heard from former UK Government adviser Professor Jim Gallagher, former EU Ambassador Lord John Kerr and Chair of the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee David McAllister MEP.
