Researchers are seeking to understand how the COVID-19 school closures have affected educators, families, and children and what steps governments, schools and local authorities can take to improve the current situation for those impacted by school closures. These surveys are part of different research initiatives looking into these issues.
For educators and administrators
University of Glasgow – Teachers’ responses to COVID-19
Researchers at the University of Glasgow are gathering information to help inform the development of an Action Research Network to address the issues raised in responses to this survey. In participating, your voice as an educator will be centred in future initiatives to address future challenges related to COVID-19. Findings will also be submitted to the House of Commons Education Select Committee on the impact of COVID-19 on education and children’s services. The survey asks about your experiences of teaching and supporting students online, your hopes, concerns and expectations for the future of education in the UK.
World Education Leadership Symposium & Network – School Barometer (International Survey)
These three different surveys from the School Barometer project are seeking views from school staff, school leaders, and others who work in school support service and organisations to inform education policy. The surveys are gathering information on the specific challenges you have had to cope with in your role since school closures occurred, as well as your needs, opinions and recommendations. Please fill out the most appropriate survey to your role. Each will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
