Experiencing Places and Spaces: City Planning with your Senses (online session)
Inspired by COP26 to make some potential changes in your local area? Curious about how city planners see places and what you might be able to do to influence change? Sign up to our virtual city planning with your senses session and find out more about how to use creative methods rooted in social science and urban studies to explore and explain your area.
We will send you information about what to do before the event, you can expect to learn about field drawing skills, sound mapping, found poetry and mental maps and what these creative methods can help you learn about to explore your own area. Get your camera phone and a sense of curiosity ready!
A simplified child friendly version of activities will be produced and made available for curious kids to go on their own treasure hunt.
