The International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI) and the Journal of Professional Capital and Community (JPCC) have announced the winner of the 2021 Innovation Award.
Paul Campbell (ESF Sha Tin Junior School, Hong Kong and the University of Glasgow, UK) received the award for the study Reconceptualising Collaboration in the context of Crisis Response and Systemic Improvement.
The winning entry focuses on the concept of collaboration and its relationship to tackling educational challenges. It draws upon empirical work in Scotland and the practitioner-research’s professional practice in Hong Kong; both societies facing a range of constitutional, societal and health crises directly impacting schools and education.
This award recognizes an outstanding contribution to the ICSEI 2021 conference that makes an innovative contribution in educational research, policy, and/or practice within the field of professional capital and community.
